Because of the major surf competitions here recently, nearly everybody has found out that there is a super wave here. We have Reefbreaks and Beachbreaks.
We offer a daily Bus transfer to the "El Encuentro" and also to other Surf beaches.
In the Winter the waves get up to 3-4 meters.
El Encuentro - one of the most famous reef-breaks of the North-Coast - is located only 10 minutes from the Surf Camp.
Just enjoy surfing in warm water and safe conditions.
The best time to surf is from December
to April.

with our qualified instructors.
- Mini Surf: 1 person 40 US$ pp.
- 2 or 3 persons 30 US$ pp.
- 4 person or more 25 US$ pp.
Start: Every Day (9-12 a.m.).
- 3 hour lesson and full time supervision and board rental.
- transfer from NWT-Surf Shop to Encuentro and back.
- drinking water.
You learn:
- about the sport and how to handle the equipment.
- how to enter and exit the ocean.
- paddling and crossing the waves (duck dive).
- catching the wave in the right moment.
